ITINERARY
Breakfast at hotel. This morning, you will visit Ho Chi Minh mausoleum complex – the final resting place of the national hero Uncle Ho, and President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house where he lived and worked from 1958 to 1969. Next, visit the most iconic temple in Vietnam, One Pillar Pagoda, of which the structure and grounds surrounding come with an intriguing story. Stop at a thought-provoking site, Hoa Lo prison, ironically called “Hanoi Hilton” by US prisoners during American War. This notorious prison housed a century of torture within its silent walls. Opened in 1886, most of its prisons at that time were political agitators. This historic prison is currently preserved as a museum. Continue your trip in Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam, to have an insight report on education under feudal Vietnam Lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant Join Hanoi cooking class to understand more about Hanoi cuisine. After breakfast at hotel, departure to Ninh Binh. Arrive Hoa Lu ancient capital of Viet Nam. You will visit Dinh King temple and Le King temple in the 10th centery, finding out the heroic histories of this two king in Chinese Wars. Lunch at local restaurant, head to Trang An wharf for enjoying unique sampan to visit Trang An cave complex and the scene of King Kong film. Biking around Trang An area. Then keep going to visit Mua cave. The place attracts visitors with its many interesting stories. Climb 500 stone steps, here you can see all the way to Tam Coc, enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the countryside and Ngo Dong river. Overnight in Ninh Binh
After breakfast at hotel, start the trip with about 3 hours to the harbor with 01 short break on half way for about 15 minutes. Arrive at the jetty in Halong City towards noon and proceed with check-in formalities. After the welcome onboard, be served with lunch while cruising towards the bay. In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just spend some time relaxing on board. Towards the end of the day the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner is served on board. Overnight on Halong Bay.
