A DIFFERENT NINH BINH

Depart Hanoi and relax on the 2.5-hour journey to Ninh Binh. After put your luggage at the hotel, bring your essential stuff to start a new journey for the day. Arrive Tam Coc start your first visit on a sampan boat rowed by a local for about 1.5 hours. Known as “Halong Bay on land”, Tam Coc is the name of the limestone caves area stretching along Ngo Dong River. The boat trip is a nice journey along the river with the peaceful scenery of Limestone Mountains, rice paddy and the sight of some temples along the way. If traveling during harvest season, you may have chances to see the yellow rice carpet along the river banks. Enjoy delicious lunch served with Vietnamese cuisine. Take a bike tour and start riding to explore the rice fields and limestone mountains with an unique route. We stop to explore Hang But (Buddhist Cave) The cave 500m in length, magical view of the stalactites and stalagmites, including a big Buddha-shaped stalactite sitting beside an underground river. Then get on a small sampan to visit Thung Nham bird park, discover the most features of this area with more than 50.000 birds of 40 species flying to inhabit every day. Your best chance to take nice photos. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Arrive in Cuc Phuong at around 9:00 am. You will drive 7km to visit the Cave of Prehistoric Man, where human skeletons and stone tools dated to some 7.500 years old have been found. After the cave the car will drive you to the park center where you will walk and visit the natural botanical garden and the big tree. On this walk you will have chance to explore the abundant and layers of tropical rain forest. After the walk you will drive back to the park headquarter for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center – one of the highlights of a visit to Cuc Phuong, where you can observe some of the rarest primate species in the world, after the EPRC you will continue with a visit to the Turtle Conservation Center were kept 20 species of turtle and tortoises for rescue and conservation. This a day tour will be ending by a visit to the area that the national park rescue and conserve some species of animals and birds such as: spotted dear, green peafowl, jungle fowl and silver pheasants…etc. At the end of the exploration, our driver will wait you at the gate of the park to give a drive back to Hanoi.
