HO CHI MINH – MY THO – HANOI – HALONG BAY 7D6N (Overnight on Cruise on Halong Bay)

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, your Tour guide and Driver welcome you and transfer to the city and have dinner at local restaurant.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, we take one and half hour to Cu Chi tunnels, visit the tunnels system of more than 200km in length which used to be the shelters of guerrillas during the war against American troops.

Return to Ho Chi Minh for lunch. After lunch, visit Presidential Palace, the Hundred Years Red Cathedral (Notre Dame Cathedral) and Ben Thanh market for shopping.

We have dinner at local restaurant.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, a two-hour drive to My Tho will expose the colorful outskirt life as well as picturesque rice fields along the journey.

Upon arrival, get on a boat trip up Mekong River with islet stop at Thoi Son to taste seasonal fruits, enjoy traditional folk songs.

Then, visit the authentic life of the local and challenge your bargaining power at cottage handicraft shops. An adventurous sampan ride in palm shading creeks will be the next experience of the riverside region.

Lunch to be served with the Mekong Delta specialty – Deep fried Elephant Ear Fish.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon. Dinner will be served on Saigon River Cruise with entertainment show along the Saigon River at the end of the day.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Breakfast at hotel, free at your leisure until transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for flight to Hanoi.

Arrival Hanoi, check in hotel then ready for the tour takes you around Hanoi’s highlights, visit the first national university – The Temple of Literature, that dates back to the 11th century. Then head to Hoan Kiem Lake, 36 ancient streets (Hanoi Old quarter), Dong Xuan market and shopping. Dinner at local restaurant.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

Ha Long Bay is one of the most enchanting and mesmerizing experiences in Vietnam. We leave the city behind and drive through the Red River Delta to Ha Long Bay, taking around 2.5 hours. Arriving in Ha Long Bay, we will board our luxury junk boat for a delicious seafood lunch while our Junk is cruising around hundreds of wonderful limestone formations arising from emerald green water.

After lunch we have the chance to explore one of the wonderful limestone caves dotted around the bay like Sung Sot (Amazing Cave. Continue cruising to a secluded spot for swimming and sun bathing before dinner. Enjoy another seafood feast for dinner.

Overnight on the Junk

Rising to the lapping waters of the bay we have time for an early morning dip followed by breakfast.

This morning we continue to cruise around the bay to find more secluded areas to either swim or kayak in. The kayaks are lightweight and easy to use. All guests will be issued with water buoyancy vests and the junk will be near us at all times serving as a backup vessel.

At midday we will return to the main harbor before transferring to our awaiting vehicle for journey back to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi, you will be free for shopping before having dinner.

After breakfast, free at your leisure until transfer to the airport for departure flight. Trip ends.
